- METARs, TAFs, ATIS, NOTAMs, Weather Radar and more
- Decoded weather reports for faster and better briefings
- Live TAF breaks down forecast assessment to a matter of seconds
- Stay up to date with widgets and Apple Watch complications

Forget raw weather reports.

When you go flying with StationWeather, you will speed up your weather briefing to a few seconds, while getting an even better understanding of current and forecast situations than you ever could with raw reports.

By completely decoding METAR and TAF reports, StationWeather is able to present the data in an intuitive way that you will get with no other weather app.
Analyze a complete METAR report at a glance. Then head over to Live TAF and instantly see the complete weather report valid at any given time - presented to you on a beautiful and unique user interface.

We know NOTAMs can be time consuming to read, so they’re sorted, filtered, and color coded by their relevance from the start. And because filters are fully customizable, you can tailor NOTAMs just for your specific operation.

StationWeather now also supports live D-ATIS reports for participating airports (currently around 80 US airports).

Worldwide live weather radar coverage in addition to an extensive set of more than 700 weather charts from all ICAO regions will make sure you know your weather before you go.

By getting access to over 40,000 stations, you will find the one youre looking for. And if a station does not publish its own weather, you can connect it with a nearby station to display those reports instead.

Pros and cons of StationWeather - METAR and TAF app for iPhone and iPad

StationWeather - METAR and TAF app good for

I think this is one of the best apps for aviation weather, either for private or professional flying. Best visual presentation! Nff4life cheers
Works as advertised, gives you the info you need with a nice clean interface.
Using this every morning, learning to fly, so I can have a quick look to see if I am flying or not.
This app is awesome!! I use it everyday to grab the METARs and TAFs. I dont think enough people know of this apps existence, but every pilot should get this! Fantastic
The only thing this app does not do is inform if the pressure is raising or lowering. Add that in an will be a 100%!! Love the app!

Some bad moments

NO WX update. No Notam info at all. Not working properly at all. Not worth paying this app.
This is a very well thought out app with a very easy-to-use graphical interface. Ive just started using this, but as a commercial pilot I imagine this may become my "go to" app for initial weather assessment. My only issue is . . . I wish the TAFs allowed conversion to local time. Maybe in an update?
Clear and simple way to view the latest METARs and TAFs. Beautiful display that is both pleasing to the eye and informative. I look forward to future improvements to make the map even better such as color coding stations to flight category. Very responsive app developer. Five stars right out of the gate. Good job.
Good Looking app, maybe for student pilots... Very limited app, no nav data, no pressure alt, no density, no station elevation, no share... everything is automatic, and huge disappointment is UTC time is wrong! Be careful with your flight planning!
I just happened to be looking for a decent aviation weather app and found Station Weather shortly after it was released. It is a beautiful app for reading a METAR. Very helpful with learning what all of the acronyms and letters are.
App doesnt respond when you add new airports. Then it crashes repeatedly. Wasted my money
